Location & Facility Transition

This position is currently based at our Linden, NJ facility and will be relocating to our new East Windsor, NJ facility. Candidates must be able to work in Linden during the transition and remain with the company through the move.

Overview

Responsible for HAN inventory organization, storage, location & distribution to support manufacturing. Work closely with manufacturing to ensure parts are routed and placed in a timely manner while maintaining an acceptable “Just-in-time” level.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Receive, route, ship & inspect parts for accuracy and count as assigned by foreman in conformance with P.O.
  • Keep storeroom organized, neat and clean such that parts can be easily located by qualified authorized warehouse personnel
  • Locate and stage parts for assembly/finishing kit as assigned by foreman. Kit must be completed, inspected before being released for manufacture per production schedule and/or as assigned by foreman
  • Work closely with foreman, QC, parts prep, and other departments to ensure timely kit delivery
  • Scanning shipping and receiving documents
  • Serve as backup for Warehouse Coordinator
    -Main Warehouse
  • Support documentation and work order flow for ERP system
  • Other duties as assigned by Foreman
Maintain Warehouse Guidelines
  • There must be a clearly designated shipping area
  • There must be a clearly designated receiving area
  • There must be designated receiving personnel
  • NO MATERIAL IS TO BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT APPROVED PACKING LIST FROM PURCHASING
  • Refer any exceptions to #4 to Foreman or Purchasing
  • Motor assembly kits should be staged in designated aisles pending Release For Manufacturing
  • All parts are to be inspected, and signed off (stamped) by QA before RFM
  • Aisles should be free and clear of parts; broom swept prior to shift completion
  • There must be a designated sequestered area for non-conforming material and gov’t property
  • Activities should be driven through ERP generated work orders per production schedule (procedures forthcoming)
