Successful State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Life Insurance Position - State Farm Agent Team Member. We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value‑based conversations and remarkable customer experience. Responsibilities
  • Be on time every single day - we are not looking for excuses about punctuality.
  • Be a team player - good communication with managers and teammates.
  • Be about the customer - their needs always take priority.
  • Be professional - know how to handle different types of personalities, especially difficult ones, without losing your cool.
  • Be a leader - you don't need a job title to be a leader…lead by example especially when it's difficult to, not just when it's easy.
  • 10+ life sales per month with a minimum of $5,000 annualized premium per month
  • $75,000 total annualized premium per year in life premium sold
  • 10 P&C household referrals per month to our P&C reps
  • 5 Google reviews per month with 4 stars or better
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements
  • Life Insurance Sales experience with proven results
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
  • Emotionally stable – we are not looking for someone with lots of personal drama going on
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening
  • People‑oriented
  • Organizational skills
  • Self‑motivated
  • Proactive in problem solving
  • Dedicated to customer service
  • Pride in getting work done accurately and timely

  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
  • NJ Life license (
    must obtain BEFORE starting employment
    ) – you must be able to hit your sales goals in month 1, there will be no lag time for results.

Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.
