Elevayz is an omnichannel marketplace seller doing the bulk of its volume on Amazon, with growing channels on Walmart, eBay, and Temu. We grow our catalog by building direct relationships with brands and their authorized distributors and reselling their products across our marketplaces.
We're hiring a Buyer to own net-new brand and distributor acquisition. This person finds the brands, opens the relationship, negotiates the terms, vets the economics, and brings the deal across the finish line. They own the top of the sourcing funnel.
This role reports directly to the owner and works alongside the existing buying function (which handles existing relationships and replenishment).
- Source net-new brands and distributors. Identify, research, and approach brands and authorized distributors that fit Elevayz's catalog. Build and work a pipeline of targets.
- Open and close the relationship. Be the face of Elevayz to new brands. Run outreach, conversations, and negotiations through to signed wholesale or brand-exclusive agreements.
- Negotiate terms. Pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and exclusivity where it's available.
- Vet the economics before you sign. Evaluate product viability (Keepa, margins, sell-through velocity, competition) so we only onboard brands that make money.
- Build the pipeline. Maintain a tracked, visible pipeline of brand targets and their status. (If it's not tracked, it doesn't exist.)
- Hand off cleanly. Coordinate with internal buying and the warehouse to onboard new brands and SKUs without dropping the ball.
- Keep relationships warm. Maintain the brands you bring on and look for ways to deepen them (more SKUs, exclusivity, better terms).
- Required:
3+ years in Amazon FBA wholesale / reselling. Ideal candidate ran their own FBA reselling business, or worked as a buyer specifically for an Amazon reseller. - Required:
Existing brand and distributor relationships you can bring with you. You should be able to name the brands and distributors you've personally landed or sourced from. - Required:
Product evaluation fluency. You can read a product's viability with Keepa, margin math, and sell-through velocity before pitching it. - Required:
Strong communication. Well spoken and professional. You'll represent Elevayz directly to brands. - Required:
Negotiation experience on wholesale terms, MOQs, and pricing. - Required:
US-based and able to work hybrid near Linden, NJ. - Nice to have:
Experience landing brand-exclusive deals (managing a brand's presence on a marketplace, not just buying from them). - Nice to have:
Multi-marketplace knowledge (Walmart, eBay, Temu), not just Amazon. - Nice to have:
Existing relationships with distributor portals / wholesale networks. - Success at 30 days:
Ramped on our catalog, ICP, and margin thresholds. A qualified pipeline of brand and distributor targets built and tracked. - Success at 60 days:
Active negotiations in motion. First new brand relationship(s) signed. - Success at 90 days: A repeatable flow of signed brands and measurable profitable catalog added, with a healthy pipeline behind it.
