- Achieve sales, after sales, customer satisfaction & profitability objectives for assigned area(s).
- Own overall performance of the area(s) and support sales performance goals for the region.
- Drive goal attainment in all sales categories, expand on existing customer growth, new customer acquisition and overall customer retention
- Management of day-to-day sales activity in assigned areas, drive accountability and drive leadership to sales teams
- Ensures sales pipeline is maintained to drive activity and sales results.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customer base.
- Grow overall market share by successfully executing the sales and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure guidelines and process for pricing is adhered to.
- Increase profitability and achieve/exceed revenue, gross margin, operating income, and P&L targets
- Maintain competitive awareness and market pricing.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- High school diploma and/or GED is required. College degree in business preferred. Combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
- A minimum of five years of heavy-duty truck sales experience preferred.
- Experience selecting, training, and developing high caliber sales professionals.
- Strong organization and leadership skills.
- Strong team leadership skills and proven successes related to getting the best out of the team.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills are needed.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to work independently while leading a high operating team
