• Job Summary

  Physical Security Officers (PSOs) work in demanding and fast‑paced environments. PSOs may be found in medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. Their mission is to protect personnel, information, and property while delivering high‑end customer service.

• Job Duties / Essential Functions
  • Deliver high‑end customer service.
  • Respond to emergencies.
  • Detain and prevent crime.
  • Perform ingress/egress control procedures.
  • Investigate incidents.
  • Complete daily logs and incident reports.
  • Conduct regular walking or vehicle patrols.
  • Build and maintain a professional rapport with clients, guests, and co‑workers.
  • De‑escalate conflicts.
  • Detain suspects.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Skills / Qualifications
  • Yellow SORA (current)
  • 21 years of age.
  • Current and valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient time‑management skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Excellent de‑escalation skills.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening, and OPS training requirements.
• Appearance
  • Hair kept neat, clean, and combed; professional appearance.
  • Beards and mustaches must be clean and neatly trimmed.
  • Fingernails shall not extend more than ¼ inch from the fingertip or interfere with duties; fingernail polish allowed if it does not distract from the uniform.

• Required NJ SORA
• Preferred CPR/AED Certified
