Job Summary
Manage and direct transportation function for the public school system
Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for school buses and other system vehicles
Prepare and maintain all transportation records and reports
Attend trainings needed to stay abreast of current procedures, policies and legal issues
Maintain or assist with departmental budget
Work closely with school personnel to schedule services
Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least up to 20lbs frequently and exert up to 20lbs of force occasionally as the job requires
