CDL-A Driver – Night Shift

We are seeking an experienced CDL-A Driver to handle nightly drop-and-hook operations and deliveries from our Linden, NJ location. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and physically capable of handling material unloading. This role is critical to ensuring our stores and warehousesremainstocked and operational.

Location: Linden, NJ

Hourly Rate: $30/hr

Schedule: Mon
- Fri,1AM –1PM

• Safelyoperatea CDL-compliant truck to deliver hardwood flooring materials to 4–5 store and warehouse locations each night within NY, NJ, CT, and PA.
• Perform drop-and-hook operations efficiently, ensuring trailers areexchangedand deliveries are executed on schedule.
• Unload materials at each location using proper equipment and techniques.
• Plan and adjust nightly routes based on traffic, weather, or other unforeseen conditions to ensuretimelydeliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections tomaintaintruck safety and compliance.
• Complete andsubmitdelivery paperwork, logs, and inspection reports accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a CDL driver, ideally in material delivery orlogisticsoperations.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. and perform unloading tasks safely.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed tomaintaininghigh standards of safety and efficiency.

• Overtime andadditionalshifts may be required.
• Companyvehiclesand unloading equipment will be provided.

The published salary rangeis usedas a guide to provide prospective candidates witha level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market.

The salary rangefor this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
