Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Pride Health is hiring a “Logistics - Shipping and Receiving Clerk” to support our client’s medical facility-based Linden, NJ 07036, This is a 3-4-months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Pay rate: $18/hr

Duration: 3-4 months with possible extension

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 5pm

License required:

Responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials within the regional supply fulfilment center. Duties include unloading trucks; pallet and box breakdown; material put-away; inventory rotation and expiration control; order initiation, picking, packing, labelling, pallet preparation, and truck loading. Performs material transfers, cycle counts, physical inventory, returned goods processing, documentation entry, and general warehouse cleanup. Safely operates material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts).

Assists with prepacking, record storage, and process improvements while complying with all safety, compliance, OSHA, CLIA, and company policies.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Strong organization, record-keeping, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work safely
• Experience using computers, pallet jacks, forklifts, tape guns, and warehouse equipment
• 1 year of work experience preferred

• Temperature-controlled warehouse
• Lift/move up to 30 lbs: prolonged standing and walking
• Safety shoes required (lace-up steel toe only)
• Max pay: $18/hour
• $500 bonus after 90 days (no performance issues or unexcused absences; acceptance of Quest Diagnostics full-time offer)
