This is one of New York's most competitive state legislative races, and the outcome will help decide the majority in Albany. We are building a serious, disciplined field program from the ground up and looking for organizers who want real ownership over their turf and the chance to help decide a race that impacts New Yorkers.

What You'll Do:

• Knock doors and lead voter contact canvasses across an assigned turf
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers
• Meet daily and weekly voter contact and volunteer recruitment goals set by the Field Director
• Represent the campaign at community events, tabling opportunities, and local meetings
• Build relationships with community organizations, elected officials, and local activists
• Track voter contact and volunteer data using VAN/Vote Builder
• Support canvass launches, campaign events, and GOTV operations as Election Day approaches
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

• You care about this district and want to help elect a Democrat in a competitive race
• You have prior canvassing, organizing, or campaign experience, or you are ready and eager to learn
• You hold a valid driver's license and have reliable access to a car
• You are comfortable knocking on strangers' doors, working outside in all weather, and handling rejection with a smile
• You are a self-starter who can manage your own schedule and hit goals with minimal supervision
• You can work long, irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, with availability increasing as Election Day nears
• Spanish language skills are a plus
