Position OverviewWe are seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. In this role, you will work independently on a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing projects, supervise apprentices, and deliver the high-quality service our customers depend on. Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains, sewers, water heaters, and gas lines
- Diagnose plumbing issues and execute effective, code-compliant solutions
- Work independently on residential and commercial job sites with minimal supervision
- Supervise and guide apprentice plumbers on assigned projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with customers and provide upfront pricing estimates
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed, including evenings and weekends
- Maintain accurate job records including work performed, parts used, and time on site
- Coordinate with dispatchers and Master Plumbers to ensure timely project completion
- Active Journeyman Plumber license in the state of employment (required)
- Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience, including completion of a recognized apprenticeship program
- Solid knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights
- Base salary: $60,000 – $79,500 per year, depending on experience and location
- Top earners (high-demand markets): up to $92,500+
- Hourly equivalent: $29 – $38/hour
- Overtime and emergency call pay available (1.5x–2x standard rate)
