Role Description

This is a full-time, in-office Business Development Manager role based in Lindenwold, NJ, with travel. The Business Development Manager will identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for Cobble Stone’s CLM and eProcurement solutions through prospecting, networking, and targeted outreach. This role will manage the sales cycle from initial contact through discovery (in partnership with sales team). The individual will maintain a healthy pipeline, forecast opportunities, and collaborate closely with marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns and conversion strategies.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include building strong relationships with key decision-makers, cultivating interest and demand, providing feedback to internal teams on market trends, and representing Cobble Stone at virtual and in-person industry events.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development, B2B software sales, or SaaS account management, preferably in enterprise or mid-market environments.
  • Strong skills in prospecting and lead qualification with consistent achievement of or progress toward sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technology and business value, ideally with experience in CLM, procurement, legal tech, or related business applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Comfort working with CRM, spreadsheets, and sales enablement tools to track activities, analyze data, and report on performance.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience selling into sectors such as government, healthcare, education, legal, banking, or pharma is beneficial.
