As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a new, in-office teammate to join our Accounting department as an Accounting Specialist.
THE POSITIONThe main role of the Accounting Specialist is to perform activities related to the accounts receivable functions. The right candidate for this position is a self-starter, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and professional.
What you will do:- Ensure that all invoices for completed projects are prepared accurately and sent timely to clients
- Complete accounts receivable functions including receiving payments, collections on delinquent accounts
- Communicate with clients to request payment and arrange payment plans
- Work with sales team to leverage client relationships for collections
- Apply customer payments to customer accounts
- Accounts Payable Specialist during absences and point of contact for Ramp
- Period-end reconciliations as assigned
- Other related duties as assigned

- Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- 1-3 years’ experience in an accounts receivable or accounting role
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes
- Dynamic, people-oriented personality able to quickly adjust in a fast-changing environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational ability to focus on complex tasks
- Ability to deliver solutions
- Proficiency with computers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to complete work within deadlines
High attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
- Quick Books experience
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
