Office Technician Contract – 8 hours per day, 180 day contract. Hourly rate: $16.51-$18.55 depending on experience and qualifications.
Job OverviewThe job of Office Technician Contract is to provide secretarial support to the school site; establish and maintain records; compile and distribute materials and reports; and respond to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources.
Essential Functions- Administers first aid and prescription medications to students under the direction of a health care professional.
- Assists in developing master schedules to ensure student course and class size requirements are accurate.
- Attends department and/or in‑service meetings.
- Collects payments for various events (e.g., fines, fees, fundraisers) to complete transactions and secure funds.
- Compiles a variety of data (e.g., Student Educational Occupation Plans, calendars, work orders, budget reports, specialized reports, student records) to prepare reports, make recommendations, and provide information to the assigned administrator.
- Coordinates assigned projects and activities (e.g., distribution of materials, arrangements for conferences, meetings, travel, proctoring exit assessments).
- Maintains manual and electronic documents, files, and records in accordance with administrative guidelines and legal requirements.
- Maintains inventory of supplies, forms, office supplies.
- Monitors student behaviors to maintain a safe learning environment.
- Prepares correspondence, reports, and other materials for documentation and communication.
- Processes documents and materials for accurate historical documentation.
- Researches assigned topics to provide information for department operations.
- Responds to inquiries from internal and external parties.
- Reviews release of students to authorized parents or guardians.
- Schedules activities for counselors, administrators, meetings, travel, and facility usage.
- Verifies student data for accuracy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Job‑related experience desired.
- Age 16 or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
