Overview
Waters Corporation is currently seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will work closely with the R&D team to develop and run experiments, analyze and present data, and produce customer facing technical documentation. This position requires participation in new method assessment & procedure revisions, cooperation with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service in the production of technical documents.
The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast paced & dynamic R&D environment.
- This job requires performing variety of routine lab activities, providing QC support for testing on new products which are in various stages of prototyping and development.
- The testing requires using variety of lab methodology, instrumentation, and associated computer software (S) such as Microsoft Office, TA Data Acquisition, and Analysis tools.
- Testing & reporting qualification for existing products, raw materials, and new products.
- Operating & advance troubleshooting for all testing methods and instrumentations, generating and reviewing Quality Records, and Certificate of Analysis for existing products & some new products.
- Writing technical documents and procedures to be used by customers as well as manufacturing and service technicians.
- Drive adoption of best practices in testing and maintainability.
- Work closely with a cross functional engineering team while developing and supporting the testing of product features throughout the entire development cycle.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related technical field
- 3 years of working experience in designing experiments in analytical chemistry field or other related sciences is strongly desired
- Knowledge of wet chemistry, and other analytical methods is preferred
- Proven track record of teamwork and problem solving.
- Technical writing and presentation skills
- Attention to detail, quality & compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to influence team members and co-works without formal reporting authority.
