Job Description

The Trucordia People Teamis seeking a
Benefits & Leave Specialist
to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional (0–3 years of experience) who is interested in HR, benefits, and employee support.

In this role,you’llhelp administer employee benefits and leave programs, support employees with questions, and ensure our programs run smoothly and stay compliant with federal and state laws.

What You’llDo:

  • Support the daily administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
  • Assistwithleave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, personal leaves, and applicable state leave programs
  • Help ensure compliance with federal and state regulations such asFMLA, ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, and state-specific leave laws
  • Serve as a key point of contact for employee questions about benefits and leave, providing clear and helpful guidance
  • Track andmonitorleave and benefits activity, ensuringtimelyandaccurateprocessing
  • Maintain and update employee data in theHRIS system, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
  • Support open enrollment and benefits changes, including troubleshooting employee issues and coordinating with vendors
  • Assistin creating and sharing employee communications (emails, guides, FAQs, presentations) related to benefits and leave
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and improve processes
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–3 years of experience in HR, benefits, leave administration, or a related area
  • Exposure to or interest in employee benefits and leave programs(internships or coursework count!)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks
  • Comfort using systems and tools, includingHRIS platforms and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, helping others and explaining information clearly
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
