Job Title: Blending Operator
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, occasionally required to work Friday's during high volume periods
Days: 6:00am-4:30pm
Swing: 4:30pm-3:00am

The Powders Blending Operator is responsible for blending nutraceutical ingredients, operating blending equipment, completing manufacturing documentation, and ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality products while maintaining compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Duties & Responsibilities- Operate powder blending equipment from loading through unloading.
- Weigh and blend raw materials according to manufacturing instructions.
- Accurately document weights, batch numbers, lot numbers, and quality checks.
- Complete manufacturing paperwork and production records.
- Perform daily quality checks and follow all cGMP requirements.
- Clean blending equipment, production rooms, and supporting machinery.
- Perform basic inventory and MRP transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support food safety and quality initiatives in accordance with SQF standards.
- Report any quality, food safety, or workplace safety concerns.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing or blending experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to read scales and accurately weigh ingredients.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to follow established procedures.
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Perform repetitive movements and maintain full range of motion.
- Work in a manufacturing environment requiring personal protective equipment (PPE).
