Position Title: Lead Cashier
Position Status: Seasonal (Part-Time)
Starting Pay Rate: $14.90/hour (Seasonal Range 3, $14.9-$18.40)
Department: Parks and Recreation
Facility: Lindon Aquatics Center
Opening Date: February 6, 2026
Closing Date: Open Until Filled
ResponsibilitiesGeneral Duties: Under close supervision of the LAC Management, performs professional duties to ensure successful operation of the customer service staff, including; daily deposit preparation, daily reports, customer service, facility sales, answering phone calls and customer questions, and preparing and executing training for all customer service staff.
Example of Duties:
- Oversees the cashiers on duty as assigned by the supervisor.
- Handle cash in an appropriate and honest way.
- Greet and check in customers.
- Collect payments and perform cashier responsibilities.
- Register transactions and issue receipts.
- Provide friendly customer relations to all guests and provide assistance upon request.
- Performs general office work and food preparation.
- Maintain clean environment and perform janitorial duties as required or assigned to include body fluid cleanup, sanitization, and light housekeeping.
- Clean, sweep, mop, spray the decks, restrooms, buildings and grounds.
- Wash windows, screens, doors, desks, and other areas of facility.
- Stock supplies and materials, maintain and replace supplies as needed.
- Dispose of trash, replace trash liners, and maintain a clean environment in and around the aquatic facility.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Must be a minimum of 17 years old to apply
- Hold a current Food Handlers Permit and First-Aid/CPR/AED Certification or able to obtain re-certification within a month of hiring
- Must also have a Utah driver's license and be able to drive a city vehicle to pick up concession items
- The facility will certify in First-Aid/CPR/AED if applicant does not currently hold certification
- Must have one year of Customer Service experience
- Must have one year of Cash Handling experience
Optional certifications and experience include Food Safety Manager certification or other customer/food service certifications.
Schedule & PaySchedule: This position works a variety of different times and the schedule will be determined upon hiring. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be included.
Pay Range: $14.90/hour (Seasonal Range 3, $14.90-$18.40) DOE
