Job Summary
Responsible for the promotion and sale of Comcast products and services, including video, high‑speed Internet, voice, and X‑FINITY Home. Utilizes advanced product knowledge and sales experience to maximize sales within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of Comcast products and promote and sell offerings to individual customers, knocking doors throughout the assigned territory.
- Show thorough and current competitive knowledge of features, benefits, pricing, and campaigns for video, high‑speed Internet, voice, and X‑FINITY Home.
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with customers.
- Evaluate customers’ needs, recommend appropriate products, and increase customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models.
- Assess competitive offers and frame responses to highlight Comcast’s benefits.
- Create and execute turf management plans independently and apply experience‑based sales techniques.
- Demonstrate confidence in selling ability and maintain competent time‑management and organizational skills.
- Meet and exceed sales goals established by the local market.
- Generate business through approved lead‑generation methods and implement effective closing techniques to achieve installation goals.
- Maintain a consistent record of success in a residential canvassing sales environment focused on business‑to‑consumer sales.
- Possess strong technical capability, including computer, billing, and database knowledge.
- Physical ability to walk and travel door‑to‑door for considerable distances in all weather conditions.
- Where applicable, obtain and maintain any credentials or licenses required to sell or design alarm systems.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
- Work nights, weekends, a variable schedule, and overtime as necessary.

Base salary: $52,000 with an annual commission of $25,500. Target total compensation: $77,500. Comcast provides a comprehensive benefits package; details are available on the careers site.
Education & Experience- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certifications as applicable.
- Relevant work experience: 2–5 years in a similar sales role.
