1st Review & Interviews beginning April 2026 - Start Date May 1st, 2026

Pay Range: $13.70/hour (Seasonal Range 4, $13.70-$17.20)

Under the close supervision of the Aquatics LG/Safety Assistant Manager and management team, the Lead Lifeguard will perform professional duties to ensure performance and supervision on deck of the aquatic staff and facility during the shift.

• Assists in work related to hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and enforcing to help the aquatics staff.
• Assists and works closely with the Aquatics Supervisors to help operate the day-to-day operation of the facility during the summer months, which include opening and closing the facility daily.
• In coordination with the Aquatic Supervisors, Lead Guards will oversee all Lifeguards while on duty.
• Assists in overseeing the proper handling of pool reports.
• Must be able to perform all duties in the Lifeguard job description.
• Additionally, employees will be required to assist staff and perform other related work duties as assigned.

• Must be a minimum of 17 years old to apply.
• Hold a current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification or able to obtain re-certification within a month of hiring.
• The ability to work from mid-March to mid-September

• Must have a valid Utah Driver's License.
• Must maintain the ability to complete the swimming test of the Lifeguard certification.
• Must have communication skills to communicate effectively and efficiently with the guests, other staff, management, etc.
• Must have or be completing a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must have at least one year of WSI Experience.

Optional certifications and experience include Lifeguard Certification, LGIT Certification, and one year of Customer Service experience.

This position works a variety of different times, and the schedule will be determined upon hiring. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be included.
