Flow Instructor

Pay Rate: $13.70/hour (Seasonal Range 2, $13.70-$17.20)

Under the close supervision of the Management Staff, the Flow Instructor will perform professional duties ensuring the safety of the patrons both in and around the Flow, plan and organize flow lessons, and provide quality flow instruction. The Flow Instructor will also instruct and teach all Flow Lesson classes.

• Oversee water activities, enforcing rules and policies as needed to ensure patron safety
• Assist in emergency procedures and fulfill roles outlined in the Emergency Action Plan
• Assist staff and perform other related work duties as assigned
• Instructs and oversees all Flow Lesson classes - MWF - 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old to apply
• Must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or be able to obtain recertification within a month of hiring

Knowledge of how to ride and teach the Flow Rider

Optional certifications and experience include WSI Certification and other Lifeguarding experience and certifications.

This position works a variety of different times, and the schedule will be determined upon hiring. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be included.
