The Plant
Operator position focuses on the management of water distribution and wastewater collection systems. You’ll ensure compliance with legislation, perform vital repairs, and assist in maintaining water quality. This role requires knowledge of SCADA/PLC systems and involves responding to inquiries related to water quality and service issues.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain water treatment systems
- Perform repairs on distribution infrastructure
- Manage water sampling and quality analysis
- Inspect and construct wastewater systems
- Communicate daily operations to the Supervisor
- Post‑secondary diploma in Environmental Studies
- Minimum three years in water treatment operation
- Valid Class III and IV certifications
- Experience with SCADA/PLC systems
- Ability to read construction plans
