Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Benefits may vary depending on the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). This position is union-represented, and benefits may be provided either by the company or through the union, depending on the terms of the applicable CBA.

• Clean and maintain building floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming and spot cleaning)
• Clean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines and other equipment (dust, wash, vacuum, and polish)
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean and supply restrooms
• Move furniture, light fixtures or other items manually or with a hand truck
• May extract carpet (small jobs)
• Operate proper use of all equipment
• Clean and maintain cleaning equipment per instructions (rags, mops, machines, tools and buckets)
• Prepare cleaning solutions (water, detergents and other chemicals) according to specifications
• Monitor and report facility issues requiring repairs (notify Lead, Site or Zone Manager)
• Monitor building security and safety (lock doors after operating hours and ensure electrical appliances are turned off)
• Properly stack and replace cleaning items and tools
• Ensure supplies are available for each shift
• Report supply requisition needs to Lead/Manager

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions
• Communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner
• Disposition to perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)

Work Schedule:

Days/nights vary, including weekends. Shifts available:
Monday to Sunday, with Tuesday and Thursday off. 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
