Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist - Linthicum MD

Job Description

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist for the Mission Systems Subcontract Services (SCS) team. The role is based onsite at locations in Linthicum, Annapolis‑Maryland, San Diego, Space Park‑California, or Rolling Meadows‑Illinois.

We partner with organizations to create future‑shaping projects for the nation. The SCS team ensures all agreements, terms, and conditions align with corporate strategy, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft contract terms and conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk & compliance assessments.
• Oversee procurement lifecycle data, processes, and reporting.
• Execute governance and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with legal, programs, contracts, supply chain, and engineering teams.
• Balance and influence competing priorities; demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
• Participate in captures, proposals, and program execution with a solid understanding of the Government Acquisition Cycle.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, law, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree) or 10 years of experience (Master’s degree).
• Experience leading negotiations or drafting contracts.
• Proficiency with FAR/DFARS.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Law experience (J.D. or Paralegal).
• Procurement experience, especially commercial contracts.
• Experience with SAP.
