The Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist plays a key role in supporting customers by providing accurate information, handling inquiries, and resolving issues. This position is responsible for delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders while managing a personal portfolio of accounts and ensuring strong customer relationships.
- Deliver customer engagement, satisfaction, retention, and reactivation.
- Work closely with Field Sales and the Operational Care Center (OCC) to ensure seamless operational execution for customers.
- Establish and strengthen operational relations through daily interactions, proactive service follow‑up, and issue resolution.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure all emails are managed in accordance with Kuehne+Nagel service standards.
- Ensure all relevant data is logged in CRM (Core Log).
- Prepare and submit pricing and manage end‑to‑end spot quotes with Sales support.
- Participate in strategic development discussions to increase customer satisfaction.
- Use the eTouch Automation Dashboard with OCC to optimize processes.
- Support implementation of new KN digital tools through training and customer education.
- Complete Customer Profile (CP), Business Profile (BP), and SOP documentation before customer onboarding.
- 2+ years experience in freight forwarding or international logistics required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and basic Excel.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams (Sales, OCC, Field Sales).
- Proficiency in CRM systems and ability to learn internal digital tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a customer‑focused approach.

Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
