OverviewProfessional Land Surveyor with 5+ years of experience supporting land development and infrastructure projects through boundary, topographic, and construction surveying. This role focuses on leading survey efforts, managing field crews, and delivering accurate plats, legal descriptions, and construction staking data. Ideal candidates bring strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and experience with modern survey technology and drafting tools.
Responsibilities- Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout surveys.
- Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables in accordance with project requirements.
- Manage and coordinate field survey crews and office technicians.
- Conduct deed research and analyze property records across multiple jurisdictions.
- Perform quality control and ensure accuracy of survey data and final deliverables.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to support project execution.
- 5+ years of land surveying experience.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license - Maryland
- Associate’s degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience with field equipment and modern survey technologies (e.g., GPS, total station, 3D scanning).
