Northrop Grumman Space Systems is a strategic partner specializing in delivering intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions for classified and unclassified missions in space. Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop and maintain a Mission Ground Simulator (MGS) in MATLAB for our development, production, and on-orbit operational Space Radar Payload programs
.

• Development and Maintenance of MGS MATLAB based ground simulation (thermal, power, radar tasking, ground interfaces, tasking decomposition)
• Development of Mathematical Algorithm Requirement Specifications (MARS) that feed MGS and Ground development

This position is on-site in a classified program area in Linthicum, Maryland.

Active TS and eligibility for SCI clearance is required to be considered.

This position can be staffed at a Principal or Sr. Principal level based on the Basic Qualifications below.

• Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with MS
• Sr Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 8 years relevant experience or 6 years with MS
• MATLAB coding proficiency
• Simulation performance modeling knowledge and experience
• Active TS clearance

• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience with Space Vehicle tasking
• Experience with Radar tasking
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Math
• Active SCI clearance
