ERP Systems Administrator – Finance (Hybrid)
Under the limited supervision of the Director, the ERP Systems Administrator will work closely with the Finance Department to ensure highly effective and consistent use of ERP applications, including the General Ledger and related modules. The role maintains ERP data integrity, collaborates with IT to ensure system functionality, and serves as the liaison between Finance and IT.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks- Maintain the General Ledger and its data integrity, ensuring compliance with federal or state requirements.
- Maintain the General Ledger Chart of Accounts and coordinate with Finance users to promote consistent account usage.
- Act as a “Super User” of the General Ledger and related ERP systems, driving adoption and maximizing investment.
- Represent Finance in system conversions, upgrades, and project management, guiding go‑live and post‑go‑live planning.
- Write system‑generated financial reports and determine optimal data sources for efficient reporting.
- Enforce security and user rights within the General Ledger system.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure continuous functionality of the General Ledger, Report Writer, and related interfaces, conducting testing of enhancements.
- Provide user training, develop technical guides, and deliver periodic training sessions on system features.
- Document ERP system relationships, maintenance policies, and security procedures.
- Provide customer support to the Finance Department and other users.
- Pursue related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (or Accounting) or equivalent and a minimum of three years of ERP application experience, including the General Ledger.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls relevant to the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Management.
- Experience with ERP system technical functionality and advanced IT aptitude.
- Project Management experience or certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Cloud Suite preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP system upgrades and/or conversions preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal collaboration.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Willingness to meet time‑sensitive objectives.
- Pay Range: $38.67–$58.05 per hour. Other compensation items, if applicable, will be discussed during the interview process.
