Senior Accountant

Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Internal Financial Reporting team for a large healthcare system based out of Linthicum, MD. This role supports monthly financial reporting, cash accounting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and collaboration with executive leadership for a specific hospital entity. The team serves as a highly visible group that partners closely with senior leadership, operational teams, and auditors.

• Support monthly financial reporting, cash accounting, reconciliations, and variance analysis for a specific hospital entity.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, operational teams, and auditors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional accounting or auditing experience.
• Knowledge of debits, credits, journal entries, and how accruals work
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

• Hospital or healthcare accounting experience
• Experience with EPIC or similar healthcare financial systems
• Strong communication skills and executive-facing experience
• Experience preparing and presenting financial statements

• $80,000 to $100,000 per year annual salary.
