Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Bachelors Degree in technical discipline required + 5 years experience OR High school diploma + 10 years experience in program of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Must be a US Citizen.

• Creates, and maintains Red Hat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS).
• Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches.
• Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines.
• Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality.
• Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.

• Apply patches and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot server issues.
• Administer customer accounts.
• Deploy monitoring tools.
• Deploy applications and tools.
• Assist with escalated customer tickets.
• Installation and cabling of equipment.

• Linux command line system administration (CentOS, Red Hat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent).
• Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository.
• Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines).
• Experience or knowledge of Red Seal Network Mapping tool a plus.
• Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi).

• Syslog/NxLog.
• Nagios or other similar monitoring applications.
• Scripting experience (Python/Perl).

Salary varies based on Years of experience: $140,000- $154,000. A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
