Security Clearance
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required. Candidates must currently possess this clearance level.
Basic Requirements- Security+ certification
- 10 years of experience as a System Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (5 additional years of System Administration experience may substitute for the degree)
- Creates and maintains Red Hat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS).
- Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches.
- Performs command-line system administration tasks on virtual machines.
- Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality.
- Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.
- Apply patches and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot server issues.
- Administer customer accounts.
- Deploy monitoring tools.
- Deploy applications and tools.
- Assist with escalated customer tickets.
- Installation and cabling of equipment.
- Linux command-line system administration (CentOS, Red Hat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent)
- Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository
- Experience working within a cloud environment (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
- Experience or knowledge of Red Seal Network Mapping tool (plus)
- Knowledge of software deployed on systems (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi) – plus but not required
- Syslog/Nx Log
- Nagios or similar monitoring applications
- Scripting experience (Python/Perl)
Salary: $180,000 - $190,000 annually.

The salary range provided is an estimate based on current market conditions and may be adjusted based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. The final salary offer will be determined after a thorough review of the candidate’s background and alignment with the role.
