IT Manager
Transdev is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Manager to join our team and ensure seamless operation of all information technology and communications systems. In this critical role, you will provide desktop support, maintain key software systems, and collaborate with stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly. This position is based in Baltimore, MD.
Compensation- Annual base salary: $69,000 – $86,000
- Vacation: minimum two (2) weeks
- Sick days: 5 days
- Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

- Oversee all information technology and communications functions and equipment provided by MTA for Mobility; monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide support for desktop and in‑vehicle systems, serving as primary liaison to IT vendors, the MOCC Contractor’s, IT corporate support team, and MTA.
- Collaborate with MTA and other contractors to resolve IT‑related issues, including after hours, weekend, and remote support for other Mobility contractors needing access to Service Delivery systems.
- Maintain security, functionality, data integrity, recommend application improvements, and perform acceptance testing in test environments.
- Proficient in report writing using SQL report writer or equivalent; able to utilize Trapeze tools (Real‑Time Views and ViewPoint).
- At least five (5) years of experience in information systems technology and at least three (3) years in management experience; formal education beyond an associate’s degree desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of information system methods and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced and demanding environment.
- Work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- Long periods of sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
- Work environment combinations of indoors and outdoors.
