System Administrator II! Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required

BS in technical field + 8 years' experience OR High School + 12 years' experience

• Creates, and maintains Red Hat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS).
• Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches.
• Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines.
• Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality.
• Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.

• Apply patches and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot server issues.
• Administer customer accounts.
• Deploy monitoring tools.
• Deploy applications and tools.
• Assist with escalated customer tickets.
• Installation and cabling of equipment.

• Linux command line system administration (CentOS, Red Hat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent).
• Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository.
• Experience working within a cloud environment (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines).
• Experience or knowledge of Red Seal Network Mapping tool.
• Knowledge of software deployed on systems (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi).
• Education:
  
  BS in technical field + 8 years' experience OR High School + 12 years' experience.

• Syslog/NxLog.
• Nagios or other similar monitoring applications.
• Scripting experience (Python/Perl).

$140,000-$145,000 (salary may vary based on location, contract category, experience, skills, education, certifications).
