Required
- Customer facing skills to drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation
- Experience with cloud computing and virtualization platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn and shift in step with the latest cloud-computing, networking, and infrastructure management technologies.
- Excellent communication, writing, problem solving, and architectural whiteboarding skills
- Strong knowledge of application system and network architectures and associated security principles including protection of data at rest, in transit, and in process.
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions.
- A commercial Cloud Certification at the Associate level, a specialty, or higher; AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are preferred
- Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework/Zero-Trust Implementation
- Experience with security-focused AWS concepts and services including IAM (Identity Access Management), SCPs (Security Control Policies), AWS Key Management Service, AWS Config, AWS Security Hub, Guard Duty, and Inspector
