Description
Leidos is currently seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our mission customer in the Linthicum MD area.
The Technical Writer will join a team whose mission is to provide cyber security support to the Nuclear Command and Control System (NCCS) organization within the Cyber Security Directorate (CSD).
Primary Responsibilities- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly meetings and performance status.
- Write meeting minutes from weekly technical meetings.
- Update the weekly, monthly, and yearly spend plan tracker.
- Update status briefings to include Gantt chart and schedule for bi-weekly brief to leadership.
- Attend weekly meetings with team and provide minutes.
- Update spreadsheet and Power Point briefs Project requirements and master plan and schedule.
- Capture and update requirements matrix.
- Update the SOW and reference documents for follow-on contract
- Complete Data transfers from unclassified network to classified networks
- Provide feedback on the contracting schedule for the program to remain in sync to project lead.
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Education/Experience- 8 years’ of experience as a technical writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred. Four (4) years of additional technical writer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Masters’ Degree can reduce years of experience by 2 years.
- Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint experienced desired.
