System Administrator

We are seeking two (2) Senior Linux Systems Administrators with networking experience to support a high priority and highly visible malware analysis modernization program. The role supports a large software development program developing, operating, and maintaining mission critical enterprise capabilities. The program includes development and support for existing mission systems in parallel with efforts to develop and deliver modernized cyber analysis, orchestration, and data enrichment products.

The team applies Agile methodology, Dev Ops principles and test-driven development practices.

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

• These positions are full-time, located in San Antonio, TX OR FANX (MD). No telework available.
• This position requires PRIVAC. Candidate must have a current (within 7 years) poly and/or currently possess the minimum level of PRIVAC required for this role (SYS). When submitting candidates, please confirm their poly/PRIVAC status.
• This position is eligible for a $5k bonus! (Includes 20% SEP IRA contribution)
