As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.
Security RequirementsDue to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and a position‑appropriate security clearance are required (e.g., active TS/SCI security clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph).
Pay Range: $52.46 – $107.37 per hour (pre‑benefit gross wage).
- Provide development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of various Python‑based ReST end points, microservices, and data model management capabilities utilizing Django and Flask frameworks.

DB, and Postgre
SQL and send data upon request, in JSON format, to UI front ends. - Provide middleware and backend support to all system applications.
- Debug existing software and correct defects.
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
- Write or review software and system documentation.
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
- Analyze system performance, confer with users or system engineers, analyze system flow, data usage, and work processes; investigate problem areas.
- Modify existing software to correct errors and improve performance.
- TS/SCI security clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph.
- Seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university; or four (4) years of additional software engineering experience working on similar projects may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
