Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs that support complex business and analytics workflows.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and high‑performance services.
- Implement cloud‑native solutions on AWS, including serverless functions, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize API performance, reliability, and security through monitoring, testing, and continuous refactoring.
- Provide technical mentorship, code reviews, and best‑practice guidance to junior engineers.
- 5+ years of professional experience developing APIs with Java and/or Python.
- Deep understanding of REST architecture, authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT), and API versioning.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS) and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Proficiency in automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary environment.
