Job Description: Glia Cell is seeking a Database Engineer for a full‑time position on a U.S. Government subcontract. The role involves sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems for government customers.
Required Skills:
- MongoDB, MariaDB – deployment, management, debugging, optimization, scaling.
Desired
Skills:
- Python, Django/Flask, REST endpoint development, micro‑service model, Swagger, AWS/C2S/Cloud experience, Docker, Visual Studio Code (or similar IDEs, JSON, XML serialization), Jira/Confluence, Git version control, Agile.
Key Requirements:
- Active or re‑instatable TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Works well independently and in a team.
- 5+ years of database engineering experience in similar scoped programs/contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or 5 years of experience may substitute.
Location: Linthicum Heights, MD
Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year, plus benefits.
