The role involves designing software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses, managing their implementation, and overseeing software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, CASE tools, and engineering releases.
You will estimate development costs and schedules, review existing programs for refinements, and define specifications for new applications or modifications of existing ones. You will be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and quality‑assurance review. This position also contributes to the Secure the Enterprise initiative by developing automated security‑evaluation capabilities, streamlining processes, and enabling continuous monitoring across project life cycles.
United States Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph is required.
- The Application Engineer (UI) will provide the development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of various web‑based capabilities utilizing Angular 14 or higher, interacting with ReST endpoints to request, receive formatted responses, and visualize the data on UI front‑ends.
- The Application Engineer will focus on creating single‑page application dashboards and providing mockups for new development.
- TS/SCI with agency‑appropriate polygraph
- All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category; all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institutions.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years experience and a High School Diploma/GED, or ten (10) years experience with an Associate’s Degree, or eight (8) years experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or six (6) years experience with a Master’s Degree, or four (4) years experience with a Doctorate’s Degree.
- Experience with code/release management using Git, Git submodules, and Git Lab for large‑scale applications
- Proficiency in Type Script/Java Script
- UI Technical Leadership
- Experience with Angular framework for user interfaces
- Experience analyzing JSON data structures when working with ReST
- Experience with CSS to enhance the look and feel of user interfaces
