Truck Driver NON CDL

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Part‑time NON‑CDL Truck Driver in Linthicum Heights, MD. The role offers weekly pay, an excellent benefits package, and a driving career that prioritizes safety and professionalism.

• Safely drive a straight truck for 80 miles within Linthicum Heights, following all applicable safety regulations.
• Perform local home‑daily routing and manage loading/unloading of freight such as UPS/US Mail.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Identify and eliminate safety hazards and report incidents as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading of freight and comply with company procedures.
• Other tasks assigned by management.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 6 months of verifiable driving experience with a straight or box truck.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test.
• History of driving within the last 10 years meets one of the following: 6 months of experience in the past 3 years, 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
• United States Postal Service‑specific requirements:
  Federal Level 2 background screen;
  Selective Service registration for eligible males.

• Weekly pay of $517 or $28.59 per hour plus $5.90 per hour for health & wellness.
• Paid training and 24‑month trucks with 24/7 roadside maintenance.
• Monday‑Friday schedule, approximately 15 hours per week, start time 4:00 PM.
• Uniform, cell phone, and boot allowance.
