Responsibilities

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Check shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service and provide related customer service functions. Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance for customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to inquiries per FMCSA enforcement guidance.
