Salary: £28,000 - £30,500 per annum (DOE)
We are a warm, welcoming and forward-thinking Children’s Day Nursery in Gloucester, providing outstanding childcare for children aged 0–5 years. The RoleWe are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse who is passionate about early years education and wants to feel valued, supported and excited about coming to work. You’ll be part of a friendly, experienced team in a well‑resourced nursery with strong staffing levels and excellent support.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting children aged 0–5 years in line with the EYFS framework
- Planning and delivering fun, engaging, age‑appropriate activities
- Supporting children’s learning and development through play
- Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress
- Working as part of a supportive room team with floating staff available
40 hours per week
4 or 5 days per week
Shifts between 7:30am – 6:30pm
No weekends
- Full & relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- A genuine passion for childcare and child development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Right to work in the UK
- £28,000 – £30,500 salary depending on experience
