Senior Electrician - Commercial Renewable Projects

Holds 18th Edition qualification.

This is a remote position.

This is not a repetitive install role.

Myriad Products delivers well-designed commercial, industrial, and large-scale new-build residential renewable energy projects, supported by a strong in-house design and project management team. As a result, our sites tend to be varied, interesting, and problem-solving led rather than standardised, “cookie-cutter” installations.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Electrician to play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installation, service, and maintenance work across our renewable portfolio — while taking ownership of on-site standards, quality, and compliance.

Solar PV experience is advantageous, but strong commercial electrical experience and the right attitude are more important.

This is a hands‑on, senior electrician position.

You’ll be directly involved in electrical installation, servicing, and maintenance across commercial renewable energy systems, including AC‑side works back to LV mains incomers. Alongside this, you’ll work closely with subcontract installation partners, helping to ensure work is carried out safely, compliantly, and to Myriad’s standards.

You will not be desk‑based or purely supervisory. This role suits someone who enjoys being on site, solving problems, and taking pride in doing work properly.

The role is field‑based and involves travel across England and Wales. Overnight stays will be required at times, depending on project location.

• Carrying out hands‑on electrical installation across commercial renewable projects
• Completing AC electrical works up to LV mains incomers, including distribution, protection, and testing
• Performing planned and reactive service, maintenance, and fault‑finding
• Supporting commissioning, testing, documentation, and handover
• Working alongside subcontract installation teams to maintain safety, quality, and compliance
• Applying practical judgement on technically varied sites with different layouts and constraints
• Completing all required certification, reporting, and documentation accurately and on time

• An experienced commercial electrician with strong installation and maintenance experience
• Comfortable carrying out AC electrical works, distribution, testing, and fault‑finding
• Solar PV experience desirable but not essential
• Holds 18th Edition qualification
• Takes pride in quality, safety, and doing things properly
• Comfortable working on site and collaborating with subcontract teams
• Holds a full UK driving licence
• Fully eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions
