Role Overview As a Senior Engineer, you will take ownership of projects from first fix through commissioning. You will lead on-site operations, ensure installations meet industry compliance standards, and act as a technical escalation point within the company.
Key Responsibilities Lead installation of advanced IP CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems. Commission and configure IP-based systems including network setup. Integrate smart lighting, AV systems, and WiFi infrastructure. Lead junior engineers and apprentices on-site. Conduct site surveys and provide technical solutions. Ensure installations meet SSAIB and industry compliance standards. Maintain accurate documentation and system diagrams. Troubleshoot complex faults independently.
Location & Travel Requirements Regular travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Overnight stays will be required depending on project location. All travel and accommodation expenses covered by the company. Paid travel time in accordance with company policy. Essential Requirements Minimum 5+ years experience in security system installation. Strong experience in CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control. Strong networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLANs, routers, switches).
Experience leading installations independently. Excellent fault-finding ability. Full UK Driving Licence.
