The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Due to growth in our Engineering team, we are now looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our supportive and friendly team in Lisburn.

We are keen to see CV’s from candidates who have experience within one of the following sectors: forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGV's, passenger carrying vehicles or similar machinery.

• Servicing and maintainingof diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment
• Fault finding, completing planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks
• Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
• Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment
• Completing job activity electronically and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered
• Ensuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of service

• NVQ Level 3 or relevant technical qualification
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
• The ability to work independently and under pressure
• The ability to manage and prioritise workload
• Understanding customer needs

• Competitive base salary from £30,036to £34,157.DOE.
