We are looking for a Working Site Supervisor to join our client in a mobile position covering the South East of the UK. This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will lead site teams while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day installation, maintenance and refurbishment works. Salary & Benefits £20 per hour (£41,600 per year based on 40 hours) 40 hours per week, Monday Friday Door-to-door pay Company van and tools provided £50 overnight stay allowance when staying away Guaranteed 11 hours' pay per day when working away Occasional overnight stays, planned in advance Full training and support provided Varied, hands-on work across the South East
The Role Supervise and work alongside site teams and subcontractors. Lead daily site activities, allocating tasks and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Take a hands-on role in installation, maintenance and refurbishment works. Predominantly supervise specialist mechanical/process works, with training available for candidates without direct experience. Support domestic installation and servicing works at various points throughout the year. Complete site briefings, toolbox talks, inspections and documentation.
Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure high standards and customer satisfaction. Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, quality and productivity. Identify and escalate technical issues and site risks. About You Previous experience as a Working Supervisor, Site Supervisor or similar. SSSTS or SMSTS qualification essential. Relevant NVQ essential. CSCS card or equivalent. Full UK driving licence.
Experience supervising small to large site teams. Strong understanding of health & safety and site procedures. Confident communicating with clients, colleagues and subcontractors. A hands-on approach with pride in the quality of your work.
Experience with in the water/utilities sector or with aeration systems would be desirable but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate. Working Area The role is predominantly mobile, covering the South East and surrounding areas, with occasional travel further afield. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor who enjoys being out on site, leading from the front and getting involved in the work, rather than being purely office-based.
