Tax Manager

Job Description

Our tax managers will work on a variety of tax returns including individual, estate, trust, corporate and partnership returns for federal, state and local jurisdictions across a range of industries. We also value subject‑matter experts who wish to focus on their chosen interests.

Managers review the work of staff accountants and participate in one‑on‑one group training for the tax department. This position requires a thorough knowledge of tax in a public‑accounting setting.

Tax managers also serve as lead providers of proactive tax planning, compliance, review and research services for a diverse group of clients in one or more industries. The manager will manage or supervise all phases of client engagements, may have primary client responsibility, and in some cases may be assigned to manage larger‑scale projects. They may be called upon to deliver presentations, write articles, and provide leadership, supervision, training and performance feedback to senior and staff accountants.
