What You’ll Do:
- Accurate Payroll Processing
:
You’ll take charge of processing employee payroll on scheduled dates, ensuring timely and correct payments. - Monitor Time Reporting
:
Proactively monitor our electronic time reporting system to prevent errors and work with managers to address any issues. - Resolve Payroll Inquiries
:
Be the go‑to person for employees, answering their payroll‑related questions and resolving any concerns with professionalism and accuracy. - Bonus & Commission Payouts
:
You’ll manage bonus and commission payouts, ensuring everything is handled promptly and correctly. - Employee Benefits & Union Payments
:
Process invoices related to employee benefits and union employee fund payments. - Reporting
:
Prepare and analyze financial reports - Account Reconciliation & Resolution
:
Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous Payroll Experience
:
Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk, Payroll Specialist, or similar role. Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP or Quick Books is highly preferred. - Knowledge of Payroll Regulations
:
Understanding of wage laws, confidentiality policies, and employee notification requirements. - Accounting Fundamentals Expertise
:
Understands accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable and budgets - Tech‑Savvy
:
Comfort with standard desktop applications and payroll systems. - Accuracy & Confidentiality
: A high level of attention to detail, precision in processing data, and commitment to confidentiality. - Great Communication Skills
:
Ability to address employee questions and resolve payroll and accounting concerns in a professional and approachable manner
