Starting Salary - $30,000.00/year
Giant Steps day schoolis looking to hire Paraprofessionals. We are looking for energetic peoplewho are interested in working with individual son the autism spectrum to help them perform to the best of their abilities. Qualities of a successful candidate include a caring attitude, the desire to support students/participants to complete academic, life skills, social-emotional activities, and feel comfortable, as part of a team, in accompanying students/participants during community-based instruction.
Paraprofessionals work alongside the classroom teacher to support the daily needs and IEP goals of their students.
This is the perfect position to gain experience in the field of autism.
Full time and part time positions available in our day school and adult program
Full time hours
- Monday
- Friday 8am
-3:30pm

Follows the public school calendar, with an additional 6-week Extended School Year (June-July with shortened hours)!

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive direct care and instructional support to students with autism spectrum disorders. Program Assistants are an integral part of the educational and therapeutic team serving students attending Giant Steps.
