We provide state-of-the-art industrial connectivity products and solutions, designed to meet complex and mission-critical applications. We serve a broad range of sectors including manufacturing, transportation, energy, and infrastructure, empowering customers with reliable and scalable solutions.

What You Will Do
  • Lead all UL submission activities for assigned ISBU products, including certification strategy, application preparation, documentation packages, follow-up actions, and closure of certification findings.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface with UL, CSA, and other regulatory or certification agencies to obtain, maintain, and update product approvals and listings.
  • Interpret and apply agency, industry, and product standards including EIA, IEC, ASTM, UL, CSA, and NEMA, and translate requirements into clear design, documentation, and validation expectations for engineering teams.
  • Define and communicate applicable test requirements across ISBU product lines, ensuring compliance needs are identified early in development and addressed through appropriate validation plans.
  • Partner with product development, quality, manufacturing, and lab teams to ensure designs, materials, components, and changes align with applicable agency and standards requirements.
  • Coordinate testing with internal labs and outside test laboratories, including scheduling, sample readiness, documentation support, and resolution of test issues or nonconformances.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with outside labs that specialize in industrial industry standards and test methods to improve responsiveness, technical alignment, and certification efficiency.
  • Review design changes, component substitutions, and sustaining product updates for impact to existing certifications, and drive actions needed to preserve compliance and continuity of supply.
  • Develop compliance guidance, training materials, and best practices that help internal teams understand regulatory expectations, certification pathways, and product safety requirements.
  • Monitor changes to applicable standards and certification requirements, assess business impact, and proactively recommend actions to maintain compliant product offerings.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in product regulatory compliance, agency certification, or product safety engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience managing UL submissions, CSA certifications, and third-party lab testing activities.
  • Ability to interpret standards and test requirements and convert them into actionable engineering requirements, test plans, and compliance documentation.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple certification activities, timelines, and external dependencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with engineering teams, agency representatives, and external test labs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and technical documentation systems; experience with PLM or document control systems is preferred.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience coordinating with outside laboratories, certification bodies, and internal cross-functional teams to plan and execute testing programs.
  • Knowledge of industrial product construction, materials, documentation, and change control as they relate to ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of EIA, IEC, ASTM, UL, CSA, NEMA, and related industrial product standards and certification frameworks. Nice to have - UL, CSA or NEMA.
